What I worked my guts out for:

before/after
$257.46. Yes, that's the damage done. No doubt I feel the pain, but it's something I saved/worked for, so...

Made a reservation for 2 at Sun with Moon Dining last Friday. It was goooood. Though I work in a restaurant myself, I too become the average customer when I'm not in uniform. The place was great; nice ambience and wayyy better than *cough* where I work *cough*.

We got tucked away in the far end of the restuarant in this little cushioned sofa. Table settings were placed in the corner of the table, in other words, self serve.

Starting from top L-R: Kani Tomogo Toji; spinach, crab meat, mushrooms in egg-y soup, Yari Ika Butter Yaki; buttered squid which was real good! The meat was chewy yet was easily digested, Yakiniki; fried beef slices with raw egg yolk and rice, Gyu Tan Miso stew; ox tongue stew. Somehow the dishes we ordered all came in little shallow pots. They were all very nice, especially love the buttered squid and beef rice.

And for desserts!

Top L-R: Peach Punch and Grapefruit Sour (not too good); Tofu cheesecake; which Dennis didn't like but I loved, Sweet Box; which was a combination of 4 dessert items that is changed on a daily basis, and Kyodango & Warabi Mochi; japanese rice cakes which we both like. :)

The damage done:

$122.15! We decided to go dutch so as to "reduce" the damage a little, heh. It was good though! Love the whole experience. Will go back again!

Spent like over $300 in a day, which took me like 54 fucking hours to earn.

_____________

School is starting next Monday, and I dread it like I always do.
