Unless you experience what it is like to serve others, you will never know how it feels like. Especially when you get totally
impossible customers who are just out to terrorize. So please, be nice to people who serve you next time. Returning a smile or saying a simple word of 'thanks' will definitely make the jobs of people who serve you more enjoyable. Quit being such a fucking bitch (if you're one, that is) and have that
stupid mentality that
"Oh! The customer is always right!" Read my lips -
"Screw you". Grow up, really. It's totally dumb to think that way even though it may be right on some occasions. And trust me, you will only understand what it's like only when you've done it yourself. Quoting the Luke 6:31,
"Do to others as you would have them do to you." So do yourself and everyone a favour and stop being such a difficult customer.
I love travelling alone. Especially on long journeys on buses or trains, because I can listen to my (yet to be fixed) iPod mini and read my books in peace. Yes, I admit sometimes company is good. But there are times when I'm dead tired and have absolutely zero mood to talk, and all I want to do is close my eyes and think about mundane things till I fall asleep. And so, please don't act all noble and say
"I accompany you la!", because you know what, I could actually do without it. And there are occasions too when I dread company because I really just want to sleep my way home.
There are times when I find no need to explain my actions or things I've said, because I guess sometimes, attempting to correct a mindset or view may end up making things worse, so I reckon it's better that it should remain unsaid.
Yay, I've got the N6230i today and I love it. Guess I won't want to change a new phone anytime soon. Hurhur. Oh yes, double yay cause we received our first paycheck from MYSG yesterday. Although the amount isn't substantial, I'm really glad cause I can finally stop saying I'm broke. Heh heh. I can finally do some serious shopping after months of window shops.
Oh, there was this super cute 2 year old kid called Jeremiah who was at the restaurant today. His parents were sitting indoors and only his maid was taking care of him so he ran in and out the the place. And he kept calling me "Jie jie!" even when I was attending to the customers outside at the courtyard (where I was assigned today). And while I was attending to this group of customers, he came by and kept calling "Jie jie!" and the group of ladies asked if he was my brother and I said no, but apparently they didn't believed me la. But the boy was super cute despite the amazing amount of saliva and dried up mucus stuck to his nostrils. Hurhur. He grabbed my fingers a few times and attempted to get me to walk with him to his parents but I couldn't cause other customers kept interrupting me. Anyway my point is, Jeremiah is super cute and I hope he comes again. :)
Shite. I just realised MeL and Helpdesk won't be opened tmw and I can't fix my damn laptop which has been down for like, weeks. Argh. Damn it la. Grrrrr.
