Work has been relatively managable last week. Worked during the evening shift for all 5 days. Its quite easy to learn and not repeat mistakes cause the things we do are basically all the same. For Sundays to Thursdays, its counter service. Which means we do not have to take orders from the customers but instead they order from the counter itself. So all we do is serve, clear, set tables etc. However, for Fridays and Saturdays (which are considered the 'busier' days), we provide table service, in other words, we take orders from them. Counter service can be quite confusing because of the various number tags the customers hold, and sometimes they seem to be blocking the numbers on purpose or something so you cant see the tags. If you ask me, I would prefer table servicing cause the table numbers are fixed and its way easier to identify the customers/tables. And I like working with the crowds too. Love the feeling of working under stress even though I get really anxious and end up making mistakes. Hurhur.

Am working all 7 days this week. First time working during the morning shift and I really like it. Time seem to pass really quickly for me, even though Yufen thought otherwise. I guess cause we get to talk more to the other people working there than compared to the evening shifts when there are more crowds. So far I've met almost everyone working there. More or less familiar with their faces and all. There's Serene, Joshua, Rachel, Wan Yee (a guy btw), Jasmine, Bernie, Edward, Mindy, Nora, Agnes, Rafidah, Gary, Bob (manager), Jack (operations manager), Jo (admin/HR), and Paul, the boss (who is very intimidating cause he doesnt exactly smile). Hm, I think I can say I enjoy working at My Secret Garden so far. Might want to work when the school term starts as well cause the schedules are really flexible. Oh, you can check out the website here. The layout/decor is really exaggerated though, but Yufen said its because there were many changes implemented by Bob when he first came (to work there).

Went out with Fanny today after work. Was supposed to go to Little India but dear miss Fanny took quite some time doing her manicure so we decided to head to town instead. And will somebody please stab me for buying TWO pairs of shoes ($19.90 and $25 respectively) in a day. Even bought a belt for $18 and a bracelet for $4. I wouldnt mind if you stabbed me twice. Or thrice for that matter. I havent received my pay and here I am spending money like I have a lot when in fact, I do not. Argh. (But I still like that pair of black shoes, and the denium skirt, and the top/s..)

Oh, I caught the movie of The 5 People You Meet in Heaven yesterday on cable channel 17. Its nice, I like it. The lady who acted as Marguerite (sp?) was/is really pretty. Dunno what's her real name though. They're gonna show Tuesdays with Morrie too. But not sure when though.

Term results will be out this Thursday. Am crossing my fingers really hard that I wont have to repeat any modules.

I apologise if my entries are dull and boring (cant stand it either). All I can think of is to write about my mundane life which will only serve as a form of memory months later. I remember I once told a friend that I want to be depressed so I could write better. Don't you think that most people write best when they're all sad and depressed and mopey? But I also remember not long after I said that, something quite unpleasant happened. Oh well.
